I won a Sat at Harrahs AC to play in the Main Event 10K this year. You can imagine how stoked I am about playing. this is the big times. no more of those 200 and 500 tournaments where ppl act crazy cause they have 9 BBs and are getting tired. The field is in for the long haul! days and days of playing the same tournament!

I have been preparing for this day and I am ready to punish the competition.

Looking forward to a great trip out to NV.

ok hold on for a crazy month of poker

today I may infact loose my mind on the poker tables. i am the reg calm minded cool headed player, However...

Today I got my insurance approval for barrayatric Sleave surgary. and to be honest going under for this surgary and what life will be like after is a future that I am scared off and have not fully wraped my fat head around.

I am very excited about the surgary, that said. I think the risk of thinking about going into surgary... so, one way to deal with that might to become a megala maniac and take a run at the high limit tables. :-O

I just took ur advice of a one mistake and took a break move, I am trying it out today.

Washed My face... Vigorously and rough. Shaved- even though Im a lazy bum. and Just burst in to LOL-

why did I take this break- cause I just 3Bet a guy on the Button- w/ 66. Flopped 655, and he Flat Shoved 105BBs on flop.... I folded cause I was using table ninja Looking at the other screen and Typed 'F' and folded on the wrong board.

Look when I play online really, I am just F'in around. I realize this now. I know what the right play is most of the time but I think Gee I wonder if this is a spot where I can change what I think is going to happen. and I try in vien to reshove tens in to a guy that is just crushing tens and I lose a buyin or two(or what ever the situation is that is -EV).

well what if you were PO'ed and you wanted to make up ground and wanted to just play with that tight leash on your neck to play only the spots that u think are Plus EV and put pressure on opponents when u think you can bring them pain.

yesterday I was given a moving violation via NYPD. believe me I am PO'ed about that! but when I came back to work, I just thought "no more experimentation, U know when u do A B happens. Crush these tables!"I had a session last night on 50NL rush with two tables I had 160, one table 200 and another 300. over 2 hours I crushed the games. i was really amazing how in touch i was w/ how to play the game.

Today was a truly rare occasion, It was the first time I took a tilt break after winning a hand- I got the money in as a semi cooler pair over pair, KK vs QQ and I got there- but I was so annoyed at how the action went i knew I was making a bad Push Preflop- so I quit after spiking the ONE outer on the river as he flopped a Flush draw to boot- and I spiked the only card I could hit for a 250BB pot-
the opponent was not a nit- but his 4 bet pre was LARGE! and i knew he was calling no matter what I did- So is this a tilt shove by me? maybe, but was hard to tell in the moment this was not the typical 9 7 player that is pushing back pre and I can Pitch the QQ and LOL at the nit. this was a tough spot and the Overly lg bet pre screamed AK to me.
On a personal note, for myself. I don't clearly know when i am tilting. so I have a strick Stoploss, as I know i am very much affected when i lose via holdem manager results. I don't realize it on a conscience level.

Friday A friend was at my table, and i don't think he knew it. But I was on Major tilt! it was a raging feeling like I had to prove to the table- I can own each and everyone of you pansy ass piss ants waiting your time at this table because I am on this table!

it was in fact cause of a silly phone conversation and cutting short my trip at AC.

this truly was my rarest form- i switched my playertype to that of Ubber maniac - VPIP 80% PFR 20% AGG INF!
i tried to out play everyone- raising the river with one pair deuce eight, with the deuce cause I thought my opponent was on a Flush draw and was Stabbing on the river w/ possible backed in to pair. I was right and won, but still. It was only 200 of my 1500 profit for the week, but still this adds up-

taking frequent breaks. sessions that are longer then 2 hours w/ o a break there is a drop off in my play level.

Inspired to Blog random

I'm not one that chooses to blog with any regularity of with even the basic outline for creating a general flow of ideas- the times i choose to post are often bizarre and totally random.

Poker - I have gone in to incognito playing on a new site with new SN via a choice that I wanted a new anonymity while I play the game. the choice was one that was for several reasons. free bonus cash as I do not play enough volume to maximize value from a single poker site. I do have some fear of collusion w/ online gaming- I do not value playing rush poker for a good BB's per hour return. and in fact has lead to a deterioration in my game. playing too many hands, poor decisions, and just magnifying my leaks. ill come back to rush when i improve my game, But for now I am going to slow things down again. 8 tables - for about 700 hands an hour. if that where 3 - 4 rush is about 1000+.
Plus the table selection comes back in to play and allows a little bit of bum hunting that I so enjoy- lol
no one has ever provided to me a reasonable explanation of why Bum hunting is bad that could significantly decrease my Bottom line. bum hunting = good EV

Motivation- everyone can benefit from Proper motivational tools. I have used this for weight loss and it is very effective. my simple idea was keep the time line short and reward yourself with things that are going to give back a positive insto gratification when you complete the current challenge.
With weight loss the motivation was simple - Super Premium sushi restaurant with my fiancee for every successful week. looking forward to that dinner out was well worth the 8 dollars a day I burned for the meal i looked forward too.

So how shall i reward myself to play poker online? and what should be the unit of measure for playing? FPPs don't apply- I'm not a SNE junkie ;-) all mighty dollar seems to me the best measure.

Bought HM and it is far and away better and more stable then the pirate PT3 i was using.

TV shows - not very interested in TV like I use to be. reality shows are a turn off. found always sunny in PA- very funny show. but it's just insane
