Poker eyes are watching and hand review.

I had my first limited success in poker in a while in tournament poker. I took twelfth place in the 5.50 buyin knock out tourny with 1350 ppl. Not too bad – In that tournament I used for the first time a site that I was just recently intoduced to Pokerratings.com. A free site. I was curious if there any of you out there that use this tool. And if so what are the primary data that u pull from it?
I have been createing player notes like this

5.5 knockout tourny

Tourny Stats: prizes 102 Profit less then 0 ROI -46 ABI 2 AFS 291 ITM 15/113

Tourny Stats: prizes 2.3K Profit 113 ROI 5 ABI 8 AFS 692 ITM 52/261

This tells me that the first player is Primary a tight player at Low limits maybe just making his start in online play, while the second player is a medium stakes player that is well aware of good poker principals and a LAG player.
This is information that I can get on the fly, so when I am switched to a new table I can find out quickly some info about the players two to my immidiate left and right instantly. Of course in poker Every hand is independent, but how would you use this information?

A nother thing I cant help but think, is this information a violation of our privacy? Or is poker becoming to form what is a equivalent rating system campaired to chess? If you seated with a Grandmaster your less likely to confront him with risky gambit plays as he will out play you.

This site is also a Mega LOG of all your individual tournament play. And will allow you to asses wether you play well or not. Before you know it I am ppl are going to be lookin up your stats before considering whether or not to call your raises.

Im going to try to generate some conversations about a few hands – Is there another way that I could have played that hand that would have created a better outcome?

the bountys I collected were not relavent enough, only about 6 – 7 bucks. But it would have been more had my significant risk with AQ placed me in a mega stack position.

The next hand I thought I might try and publically examine was the following weak PP 33. this hand turned in to a set Luckly, If I had raised the SB might have passed on the hand (maybe). But in reality with a M of 12 or so, can I really afford to raise with 33 to isolate?
If I had raised I might have cleaned up with this bottem set as the pot would have allowed him to call my later bets.

I am mega tiltted

today there is a whole lat ta tilt in my life. I am chillin here in my solidarity just thinking about whats going on with my home job and parental tilt. I don't know why i would post this all here. i know for a fact no one reads this blog. so my sewage of words is not heard by the masses.

My tilt in life may be the foremost cause of my playing tilted. i have lost a string of buy ins to FTP, a sum of about 600. for me I am use to requesting checks sent to me every 2 - 3 months. well it's been a while since this donkey turned a profit. and some of it. most of my loses I can say well you did donk it off you ass hole. and I did. I made plays at pots I had NO right too. I can say that most of these plays had been preambled by petty words that have stuck in my head causing me to play out side of my self. I don't play certain hands online. I just don't. If cant make a read at a player how in the world can I play a hand that is weak by nature? this is online gambling. QJ is the best example of this. in person - you can make reads that you cant other wise make. A-T, A9 Never K J, IDK im a loss for how to play anymore. being broke blows. it makes me all the more desperate to make a Mega pot that I can win.

I have to eliminate these horrid habits that I have picked up over the last 2 months. I have been the past 2 weeks getting back to basics. reading mags. reading blogs, hoy has been tilted himself and no real poker content other then dealing with tilt has been available. I think the way back to winnning poker is boredom. If Im not not bored Im playing wrong - lol LOCK DOWN POKER!

Whats the Longest one hand ever put you on tilt?

This is a horrible story: but like every car wreak you can't look away. For me the story starts at home where I carfully schedualled a trip to Taj while the USPC was going on in 2007. I signed up for my first major event in my lifetime. I played Briliantly! out playing the fish and crushing the great players when the cards came through for me. I managed to grap the chip lead taking down to Big stacks b2b.

a half hour later in the BB, delt AQ suited. Button limpped. SB limpped behind at 300 -600 level. I pop it to 2100. with 40K behind. both call. I instantly put the Button on a real hand Speciffically a pair. well I flop the crap outta hand. A Q 7. I lead right out 2500. the Button repopped. shocked to call 4K more I think there is no way he hit a set - maybe maybe AK donk.

well as it turns out I only call. Mistake - ???? not really. the player had 8K and change behind. after the 4K RE- raise. so he does seem pot committed here right?

well the turn is a brick. and I weirdly check my BB position thinking pot control. He bet another 4K. thus again pot committed himself. so I took my time on the flop 4 K bet deciding that I would call any and every bet made by him.

well the river was a King. and the pot was HUGE!!! so when he moved in for another 4 K and said aloud You have to call. I knew two things One i was beat and two I did have to call.

He showed KK. I did not recover from this loss / tilt for about 3 months.
It blew me away that he committed himself there with KK with my lead out and call.

and then he got there on the river. I found him the following day - he said two things - one he was pot committed with the KK and two he took down the tourny. I had 2 losing live cash game sessions after this and have not been a winning online player since this loss. I would go to sleep at night for the next few weeks thinking about how he trapped me, i retrapped and he resucked out. unreal.

well Im back in the swing of it all. If you blog about your worst tiltever go ahead and leave a comment I'll look up your blog.
