when is the right time to return to high stakes online

I have been taking two steps backwards every month now for 7 months. I have made a 180 degree turn around from the player I use to be. I had for a long time been climbing the stakes limits. proving my self,...
But then I found my self after a while to play like a complete tard. This was not standard for me, I did not lose my profits. maybe 2 or 3 buyins for a $2 NL game. i have retreated to low limits and have not returned as of yet... it's been months. IDK i just don't feel the same about the online higher stakes. I have been working hard on my game. i think i am ready to mount my comeback. I need to start playing satlights and earn the cash the old ways where I am extremely confident. .10 /.25 PL. That is where I developed as a player. that is where I got my original bank roll. Back to NO BLUFFING, back to value town betting, back to having patience. If your going to play against bad players, I need to have the tool box in order to do job.

Big lay down or call in AC

game - 2 5 NL cash
UTG hasme covered.
my stack 950.
UTG raises PF 25
Me AdQd Called on Button.
Flop Qs Jc 7s.
Opponent Bets 50. after 5 seconds.
I only call. after 20 seconds.
Opponent Bets 100 quicker this time
TURN [2h]
I go into the tank- I know that If I call this I might be in line to be bluffed- I think about raiseing here, but I try to put him on a hand as he is betting harder then ussual. AND I HAVE ON THIS DAY A VERY TIGHT SOLID IMAGE- only one hand I put him on. KK but maybe air, draw. I think and think. Im either way ahead or WAY behind. I only call. (i believe this is a mistake)
pot has 7+ 25+25+50+50+100 +CALLED 100 = 357. IF I PUSH its 600+ to him and again - it eliminates draws.
so a Jack of Spades hits and he insta shoves? on a paired bored. I'll respond in comments as to what he had and what I did.

how might you have played it? raised called or anything. open to discussion. check back

my opponent was aware that I did have a hand- his choice to bet out LG was to set me up for a big pot. he realized that if he bet big with VERY deep stacks he might be able to get my whole stack. he flopped a gunshot and flush draw. with As Ts. he made his flush on the river- and I offered a ten dollar tip to the dealer on his behalf if he'd show his bluff. this worked and I would have lost my stack. Good fold, as I errored on the TURN!

I would have reraised pot sized after the flop, if he reaised it you'd know u were behind and u could have folded since u were only in for 150....A tough nut to swallow(150) but it's alot cheaper than ur stack. I think u had him though...too much out there after the flop. If he had KK or AA he wants u gone after the flop unless he had AK of spades then it's off to the races....

I like the call preflop. If he had been playing a lot of hands or I had an idea of what type of hands he raised with preflop previously, I might have reraised him preflop otherwise I would just call.

I believe you are right on the flop you are either ahead or way behind. If he is holding JJ , QQ or JQ you are way behind. If he is holding KK

Man, I'm curious as to what happened. I'm gonna guess that he had AK suited. If he had K's, my guess is he would have pushed all in after the turn. Your call after the flop indicated to him that you had the Q instead of an overpair, otherwise you would have raised.

We can assume that the turn card did not help him. I believe a pot sized raise on the

How to play Bad players (Live game in harrahs 1 2NL )

bad players- you really have to consider how deep stacked you are vs your opponent every hand. just cause u feel he does not have what you think- does not mean you will win the hand. I respect any the bet made- and weigh that amt as to what may happen on the river bet, (weighting heavy on position as well) I laid down pocket aces (from BB) after turn in a live AC game this week. I faked being weak, as I realized my opponent loved sooooted cards and connectors. as He bet 50-(into a 75 pot) i noticed posture and other signs. So I laid it down and GOATED him in to showing... I was right and drawing dead to his made flush. [10d, jd, 5c] [2d] He showed 9d Qd

I played with my chips for a bit and thought about his goal about betting 50-. I have 200 in front of me left after a 22 PF re raise and 35 bet on flop. His call on the flop was telling to me. As he called, he looked over asked hom much... AS IF HE HAD TO CALL my bet. Keep your eyes open at the table and I wish you all good variance! later

Spade Club and general tournament poker

ok so it's been a little while since I posted any content, I have not been playing nearly as much cash games as I use too. I have made my way over to the spade club, and I have to say that I have really enjoyed it there. the games are Pure tournament biased and the players are a lil bit on the novice side in the early levels of play. the cream has consistently risen to the top of the field for the most part that I have seen. The since of community really existed there right now, and I feel like there is a better chance of meeting ppl that are quality players and friendly to boot. There are a few pros to be seen playing there, the founder can be found playing in the big tournaments. always good to have a bench mark for good solid poker play. to date including membership fees, i have netted about 450 ish. taking down the 1K gar, and placing 7th in the 5K gar. here are a few notable hands that I saw in that tournament:

I was able to re raise this MP raiser pot making him pot committed- shoving on flop.

actually i think i got both of them to commit all there chips here

anyway: I also bought directly in to Ftops 6max event for 120. worst tourney i ever played in. I felt like ppl at my table were UBER agg. I was also seated with a Internet cash game pro Jcarver. he went out on his first hand, QJo. lol. guess he did not care.... i went out with AA against 56 ( pair and st8draw) ugggg. having four bet my opponents raise PF, what a donk.
